These terms and conditions govern purchases made through the website essencialbyem.com. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Definitions
- We / Essencial by EM: the company that owns this website.
- You: the user or customer who accesses the site and makes purchases.
- Product(s): items available for purchase, including jewellery, wellness products, books and essential oils.
3. Products and prices
We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images. Colours may vary slightly depending on your device. Prices are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices without notice; confirmed orders are processed at the price in effect at the time of purchase.
4. Ordering and payment
By making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian, and that you will provide accurate and up-to-date information. The purchase contract is concluded upon order confirmation by email.
At Essencial by EM, the security of your data is our priority. All transactions are processed through certified payment gateways, and we never store financial information on our servers.
4.1 Accepted payment methods
PayPal. The leading online payment platform, recognised for its security and ease of use. You can pay with your PayPal balance, linked bank account or credit card associated with your account.
PayPal Pay in 3. Option to split your purchase into three equal interest-free instalments, managed directly by PayPal. Available subject to PayPal's conditions for your account.
Credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payment is processed securely through PayPal's gateway, without your card details passing through our server.
4.2 Transaction security
All communications between your browser and our site are encrypted using SSL/TLS protocol. By using PayPal as our gateway, your financial data is never shared with us or third parties. PayPal has advanced fraud detection systems and buyer protection.
4.3 Buyer protection
Purchases made through PayPal are covered by their Buyer Protection programme. If you do not receive your order or the product does not match the description, you can open a dispute directly from your PayPal account.
4.4 Invoicing
Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with the purchase details. If you need an invoice, you can request one through our contact form or by writing to [email protected].
4.5 Currency
All prices are displayed and charged in euros (€). If your payment method operates in another currency, the conversion is carried out by your bank or PayPal according to their own terms.
5. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times are estimates and depend on the destination and shipping method. In case of significant delay, we will inform you as soon as possible. Essencial by EM shall not be liable for delays attributable to the carrier or force majeure.
6. Right of withdrawal and returns
In accordance with applicable regulations, you have 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal without justification. Products must be returned in their original condition, unused and with complete packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the product is defective or does not match the order.
Essential oils and sealed products for hygiene reasons are excluded from the right of withdrawal once the seal has been broken.
7. Warranties
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity. If you detect a manufacturing defect, contact us within a reasonable period and we will proceed with repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.

9. Intellectual property
All content on the site — text, photographs, designs, logos and code — is the property of Essencial by EM or its licensors. Reproduction without express authorisation is prohibited.
10. Limitation of liability
Essencial by EM shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the site or products beyond what is required by applicable law. Maximum liability is limited to the price paid for the product in question.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Málaga, unless consumer regulations establish a different jurisdiction.
